Mechanical Engineer - Trainee

Job Responsibilities

Financials

  • Support the achievement of departmental productivity and operational efficiency targets.
  • Assist in optimising resource utilisation and minimising equipment downtime.
  • Assist Senior Engineers and Supervisors with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and assist in identifying the root causes of equipment failures.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, manuals, and schematics.

Learning & Growth

  • Participate in structured training programmes, workshops, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Develop technical knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and engineering practices.
  • Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to enhance performance and support professional development.

Work Experience

  • No prior work experience required.

Educational Qualification

  • Fresh High School Graduate.
