Role Overview

This is a contractual role.

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Engagement and Events Coordinator to drive team cohesion, cross-functional collaboration and organizational culture for 500+ members organization. This role is central to fostering a connected, engaged workplace through thoughtfully planned events, celebrations and collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute quarterly town halls, offsite and team celebrations that align with organizational objectives
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and post-event analysis
  • Coordinate milestone celebrations including team birthdays, work anniversaries and organizational achievements (promotions)
  • Ensure seamless execution across multiple concurrent initiatives with attention to detail and quality
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with regional RMs and sourcing leads to understand engagement priorities and cultural initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional participation in events and collaborative activities.
  • Build relationships across organizational silos to amplify engagement reach and impact
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and teams to ensure alignment on engagement strategy

Team Engagement Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive engagement calendar covering town halls, celebrations, and team-building activities
  • Gather feedback from teams to continuously improve engagement initiatives, team culture and event experiences
  • Identify emerging engagement opportunities, including training, team bonding exercises and propose innovative initiatives to boost teams’ morale
  • Track engagement metrics and participation rates to demonstrate program impact
Core Competency - The role holder will be required to create and execute a team engagement strategy for a remote first strategy as one of the core responsibilities.

  • Attention to Detail - Ensures flawless execution and high-quality experiences. Aligns engagement initiatives with organizational objectives to drive culture and team bonding, fostering a culture of collaboration and boost engagement levels

Operational Excellence and Rigor

  • Manage engagement budgets and vendor relationships efficiently
  • Maintain and drive detailed documentation of events, attendance and outcomes
  • Coordinate with HR and leadership on policy alignment and compliance for yearly offsite requiring team travel
  • Proactively anticipate organizational needs and propose solutions

Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi (Remote role)

About the team The role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech and High volume space. Basic Qualifications: - Experience managing large-scale projects from end to end

  • Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, team engagement and organizational development
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through on commitments
- Proficiency in event management tools and basic data analysis Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization
  • Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and culture-building initiatives
  • Experience with virtual and hybrid event management
  • Familiarity with engagement metrics and ROI measurement
