Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications/products based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Work effectively across UI, Business Layer, Service Layer, and Database components of n-tier architecture.
  • Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java.
  • Follow Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies for application development and delivery.
  • Design and develop external software interfaces using appropriate middleware technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Prepare software design and technical documents based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Enhance and support existing applications by implementing new features and modifying existing functionality.
  • Analyze and resolve reported issues and production defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure, and high-quality code with minimal defects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
  • Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support activities.
  • Ensure development activities follow defined coding, security, quality, and delivery standards.

Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in Java
  • Hands-on experience in Microservices
  • Good understanding of Full Stack Development
  • Experience with n-tier application architecture
  • Knowledge of UI, Business Layer, Service Layer, and Database
  • Experience in application design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and software integrations
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles
  • Experience in code review, debugging, and defect resolution
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web Services
