Social Science Faculty – UPSC NDA/CDS (Defence Exam Qualified)

New Careers Academy is hiring a Social Science educator to prepare students for the UPSC NDA and CDS examinations. We seek someone with strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills and personal experience qualifying defence competitive examinations.

Mandatory requirement

Applicants must have personally cleared a defence competitive written examination, such as NDA, CDS, AFCAT or CAPF (AC). Mention the examination, year and attempt in your application.

Responsibilities

  • Teach History, Geography, Indian Polity and Economics relevant to NDA GAT and CDS General Knowledge.
  • Connect current affairs with syllabus topics.
  • Explain concepts clearly using maps, timelines and practical examples.
  • Discuss previous-year questions and exam-solving strategies.
  • Prepare notes, practice questions, daily tests and mock examinations.
  • Resolve doubts, review test performance and monitor students’ progress.
  • Conduct classroom and online sessions using a digital board.

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • A relevant degree in Social Sciences or Humanities.
  • Previous teaching experience for NDA/CDS or other competitive examinations.
  • Ability to teach effectively in Hindi and English.
  • Strong familiarity with NDA/CDS syllabi and previous-year questions.
  • SSB recommendation would be an added advantage.
