Senior Operations Executive – Sourcing & Procurement

## About the Company Hypefly India is an authenticated premium marketplace for sneakers, streetwear, wearables, beauty, collectibles and luxury bags. With 150,000+ customers and 300+ orders shipped every day, we offer same-day delivery in Mumbai and Delhi. Recently funded and scaling rapidly. ## About the Role You own stock — what we buy, when we buy it, how much, and whether it shows up on time. You sit between customer experience, purchasing, vendors and the warehouse, and your job is to make sure orders get fulfilled and problems get closed, not passed on. This is a fast-moving business. 300+ orders a day across sneakers, streetwear, wearables and beauty, with sizes, colourways, vendor lead times and authentication all in play. You will not succeed here unless you understand Hypefly end to end — the products, the sizing, the vendors, the authentication process, the customer. We'll teach you the business; you need to want to learn it fast. ## Key Responsibilities - Procure stock from vendors — the right product, the right quantity, at the right time, based on demand - Read demand: what's selling, what's about to, what's dead — and buy accordingly - Cost and margin awareness — know what we paid, what we sell at, and flag when a buy doesn't make sense - Maintain accurate stock across the warehouse and all channels - Chase every vendor on every open order; make sure stock arrives when promised - Coordinate with accounts so vendors get paid on time and our credit stays clean - Oversee inwards and outwards — every unit logged, every discrepancy caught - Reconcile returns and RTO back into stock — restock or write off - Know the authentication process well enough to route stock correctly and catch problems before dispatch - Oversee warehousing and shipping operations alongside the warehouse team - Resolve issues between customer experience and purchasing — you close the loop, whichever team it lands with - Build reports on demand: stock health, vendor performance, ageing inventory, fulfilment gaps - Own the KPIs: stock accuracy, vendor on-time rate, fulfilment gap, ageing stock - Be the person who knows where every unit is and why ## Requirements - 3–6 years in e-commerce operations, procurement, supply chain or inventory management - Crazy good with Excel/Google Sheets — VLOOKUP, pivots, large datasets, building trackers from scratch - Uses AI daily — ChatGPT/Claude for reports, vendor comms, data cleanup, automating repetitive work. This is not optional - Understanding of sneakers, streetwear and consumer products — sizing (UK/US/EU), colourways, SKUs, release cycles. Strong interest in the category is essential - Cost and margin awareness — you know what a bad buy looks like - Vendor management experience — negotiating, chasing, holding people to dates - Problem-closer mentality: you fix it or you escalate with a plan - Picks up new tools fast — Trello, CMS/admin panels, courier dashboards - Young, hungry, wants to grow with a company that's scaling - English and Hindi; Marathi a plus - Graduation not mandatory if experience is strong ## Compensation CTC ₹8,25,600 – ₹10,65,600 p.a. (₹65,000 – ₹85,000 per month in-hand), depending on experience. Employee of the Month recognition of ₹10,000, at the CEO's discretion. ## Location & Work Mode - Reports to: Head of Operations - Hours: Mon–Sat, 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM. Sunday off - Probation: 1 month. Notice period: 2 months post confirmation - Joining date: 15 November 2026 - Location: Work from office, Andheri West (Versova), Mumbai. No work from home - Immediate joiners preferred.
