Vortex has built its own portfolio of products leveraging AI, IoT, and ML technologies, and aims to be a leader in their use to solve the current challenges of the industry it serves. ## About the Role The Sales Director – MEA region will be responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned territory in the MEA (Middle East & Africa) region. This role involves carrying out sales region needs analysis, developing resultant strategies and business plans, building and managing relationships with clients and partners, and managing a healthy sales funnel. The Sales Director will also be responsible for understanding and communicating the product value proposition to CXO-level client executives, supporting the team in preparing product proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing price and contract negotiations with clients. ## Key Responsibilities - Be responsible for sales targets in the assigned territory in the MEA region - Carry out sales region needs analysis and develop resultant strategy and business plans - Build and manage relationships with clients and partners - Build and manage a healthy sales funnel and own customer database for lead generation and digital marketing activities - Understand and communicate the product value proposition to CXO-level client executives - Support the team in preparing product proposals, respond to RFPs, and manage price and contract negotiations with clients - Work with various internal stakeholders to meet sales targets - Senior Middle Level management reporting directly to the CEO ## Requirements - Prior experience of consultative selling and account management in enterprise IT products - Deal maker with target orientation and entrepreneurial mindset and proven sales track record - Strong communication skills with the ability to connect, network, and make impactful customer-centric solution presentations to customer organizations at the CXO level - Fluent in using modern social/digital media and well informed about industry trends ## Preferred Qualifications - Track record of successful selling to Banks/Payments/ATM domain - Exposure and relationships in the banking market in the MEA region ## Location & Work Mode The role is based in Chennai or Bengaluru and is an onsite position.
