Product Pricing Assistant, Retail (remote night shift USA)

<p>Price Book Assistant</p><p>Location: Ahmedabad</p><p>Salary: 10-12 LPA</p><p>Shift: 7 pm to 5 am IST</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented <strong>Price Book Assistant</strong> to maintain accurate product pricing, costs, margins, and sales reporting across multiple retail stores. This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail pricing, merchandising, inventory, bookkeeping, or other accuracy-focused, numbers-driven positions.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Maintain and update the <strong>price book</strong> across all retail locations.</li><li>Review product costs and retail prices to ensure the correct margins are maintained.</li><li>Update pricing when vendor costs change.</li><li>Identify pricing or margin errors and make necessary corrections.</li><li>Review margins by product, category, and store.</li><li>Prepare recurring <strong>sales summaries and sales reports</strong> for management.</li><li>Analyze sales data to identify products that are underperforming or require pricing review.</li><li>Make bulk price and cost updates using <strong>Excel</strong> and import the changes into the retail back-office system.</li><li>Cross-check pricing, cost, sales, and margin information for accuracy.</li><li>Maintain accurate product and pricing records across all stores.</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li><strong>4–5+ years</strong> of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, bookkeeping, inventory, or a similar detail-oriented role.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large amounts of data.</li><li>Good understanding of <strong>cost, selling price, markup, and margin</strong>.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Comfortable with repetitive data entry and data validation.</li><li>Experience with a <strong>POS, ERP, inventory, or retail back-office system</strong>.</li><li>Experience handling <strong>multi-store pricing or product databases</strong> is preferred.</li><li><strong>ECRS Catapult experience is a plus, but not required.</strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
