Ensure that all purchases made through procurement department are properly authorised andconfirms to quality specification and industry standardsReceiving requisition of several categories from different departments Ensure correctness ofspecification details and select correct vendors for RFQClose co-ordination with technical and operations to plan purchase and logistics activity for timelysupplies Ensure no downtime for wanted material services required from requested assets departments Co-ordination with warehouse for checking in-house stock prior to placing the order Close follow up with suppliers for obtaining various quotes for comparison as per company policybefore processing purchase orders Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and quality products as per purchase orders Co-ordination with vessel for getting update on deliveries made Follow up for GRN for timelyclosure of POs and provide financial accruals towards open records Maintain accurate and comprehensive information on all purchases made Exchange data withvessel and various departments on regular basis Support Procurement Manager for achieving cost reduction targets and making price agreementsfor different categories and services Vendor development and management With minimum 3 to 4 years of procurement experience within marineenvironment.Procurement and sound negotiation skillsBrief technical knowledge in marine spares and related servicesKnowledge of CFM or equivalent ERP systemsProficient in Microsoft Office Application
