Printing & Packaging Designer (Night Shift)

We are looking for an experienced Printing & Packaging Designer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in packaging artwork, structural understanding and print-ready design.

This role is specifically for candidates who understand how packaging is designed, printed and manufactured — not only graphic design.

The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator, along with practical understanding of packaging structures, dielines/keylines, prepress, Offset printing and Flexographic printing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create professional artwork for customized printed packaging.
  • Develop and modify dielines, keylines and packaging structures based on product dimensions.
  • Prepare accurate print-ready artwork for production.
  • Create packaging mockups and presentation visuals for client approvals.
  • Prepare artwork for different printing processes including:
  • Offset Printing
  • Flexographic Printing
  • Digital Printing
  • Understand and apply:
  • Bleed
  • Trapping
  • Overprint
  • Registration
  • Pantone colours
  • CMYK
  • Spot colours
  • Colour separation
  • Print margins
  • Glue areas
  • Cut/crease lines
  • Check artwork technically before sending files to manufacturers.
  • Resize/adapt artwork across multiple packaging sizes and SKUs.
  • Coordinate with production, printing and packaging suppliers for artwork corrections and approvals.
  • Understand print limitations and modify artwork according to the printing process being used.
  • Create and maintain master packaging templates for repeat orders.
  • Check supplier proofs, print samples and final artworks before production.
  • Assist in developing new packaging structures and formats.
  • Maintain proper naming/version control of artwork and design files.

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Printing / Packaging Design
  • Strong command of CorelDraw
  • Strong command of Adobe Illustrator
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of packaging dielines and structures
  • Ability to create production-ready packaging artwork
  • Good knowledge of Offset Printing
  • Good knowledge of Flexographic Printing
  • Understanding of printing limitations and production requirements
  • Colour management and Pantone matching knowledge
  • Knowledge of trapping, bleed and prepress
  • Experience working with printing/packaging manufacturers
  • Ability to independently check artwork before production

What We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who can receive:

Product Size + Logo + Branding Guidelines

and independently convert that into:

Correct Packaging Structure → Dieline → Artwork → Print-Ready File → Mockup → Production Approval

The candidate should understand both the design side and manufacturing side of printed packaging.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
