We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teachers to join our growing team and teach students from Grades 9 to 12.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Online Chemistry Teacher (Grades 9–12)

  • Time: 4pm to 9pm
  • Work Mode: Remote (Work From Home)
  • Compensation: ₹200–₹300 per hour, based on subject expertise and experience
  • Working Hours: Flexible, based on student requirements and mutually agreed schedules
  • Experience: Prior online teaching experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular online Chemistry classes for students in Grades 9–12.
  • Deliver structured lessons aligned with the student's curriculum, academic level, and learning requirements.
  • Explain complex chemical concepts, reactions, and principles using simple, effective, and student-friendly methods.
  • Teach theoretical concepts, chemical equations, numerical problems, and their practical applications.
  • Cover relevant topics in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry according to the student's grade and curriculum.
  • Conduct interactive, two-way classes that encourage student participation, questioning, and critical thinking.
  • Use diagrams, molecular models, animations, and digital simulations to improve conceptual understanding.
  • Identify students' learning gaps and provide personalized academic support.
  • Assign homework, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, class updates, and student progress reports.
  • Coordinate professionally with the academic team regarding class schedules, student progress, and feedback.
  • Ensure punctuality, consistency, and professional conduct in all scheduled classes.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject is preferred.
  • Candidates with a relevant Bachelor's degree and strong subject expertise may also apply.
  • Excellent command of Chemistry concepts, chemical reactions, equations, and numerical problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry relevant to Grades 9–12.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them effectively.
  • Prior experience teaching CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, GCSE, IB, A-Level, or other international curricula will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a student-centered teaching approach.

Essential Skills

  • Strong online teaching and virtual classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in online teaching platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and online educational tools.
  • Ability to use visual aids, molecular diagrams, and interactive simulations to explain Chemistry concepts.
  • Ability to conduct engaging, interactive, and two-way learning sessions.
  • Strong lesson planning, time management, and student assessment skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods according to students' learning needs.
  • Professional communication and coordination skills.
  • A responsible, punctual, and self-motivated approach to work.

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

Candidates must have the following:

  • A reliable laptop or computer suitable for online teaching.
  • A tablet with stylus support or another suitable digital writing setup for writing chemical equations, solving numerical problems, and explaining diagrams.
  • Stable, high-speed Wi-Fi or internet connectivity.
  • Reliable power backup to ensure uninterrupted classes.
  • A good-quality headset or microphone for clear communication.
  • A quiet, professional teaching environment with minimal background noise.
  • A working camera, which must remain switched on during classes.
