Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated

Night Shift Data Entry Operator

to join our dynamic data team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining high‑quality data in our secure databases during overnight hours. Your work will directly support critical business functions, ensuring that our internal stakeholders and external partners have access to accurate, up‑to‑date information when they need it most. This position offers a blend of independent focus and collaborative interaction with a Data Manager and fellow data professionals.

Key Responsibilities

    Data Capture & Entry:

    Accurately input customer, account, and transactional data from a variety of source documents, adhering to strict time‑bound service level agreements.

      Verification & Validation:

      Compile, sort, and verify data for completeness and correctness, flagging any inconsistencies for further review.

        Error Resolution:

        Review entries for deficiencies, correct incompatibilities when possible, and perform quality‑control checks on output files.

          Research & Enrichment:

          Investigate incomplete or ambiguous records, retrieve missing information from internal systems or external sources, and update entries accordingly.

            Document Management:

            Scan, digitize, and archive physical documents; print files when required, ensuring that all records are stored in compliance with careerzynith’s data retention policies.

              Confidentiality & Security:

              Safeguard sensitive information by following established data‑privacy protocols and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

                Equipment Stewardship:

                Operate office equipment such as scanners, fax machines, and printers responsibly; report any malfunctions promptly to IT support.

                  Support & Communication:

                  Respond to internal queries regarding data status, provide access to relevant files, and collaborate with the Data Manager to prioritize workload.

                    Policy Adherence:

                    Follow careerzynith’s data integrity, security, and compliance policies, contributing to a culture of accuracy and trust.

                    Essential Qualifications

                    • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Office Clerk, or in a similar role with a track record of meeting productivity targets.
                    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with specialized data‑entry software or database platforms.
                    • High typing speed (minimum 60 wpm) with a focus on accuracy (error rate below 2%).
                    • Exceptional command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, ensuring that all entered information meets professional standards.
                    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
