Key Responsibilities – CNC/VMC Machine Operator

• Operate CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.

• Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for machining operations.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Monitor machine performance and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any faults or breakdowns.

• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Maintain production records and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, and company guidelines on the shop floor.

• Minimize material wastage and optimize machine productivity.

• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to meet daily production targets.
