IT Support Associate II at Amazon, Hyderabad

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate II for its Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team in Hyderabad. The role provides first-level IT support across Amazon Operations sites and involves maintaining equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and assisting with day-to-day IT activities. The position supports multiple buildings in the Hyderabad area and may require travel within the state or region. Amazon operates its facilities seven days a week, so although the role follows a five-day work week, scheduled days off can vary according to shift patterns and business needs. What You'll Do Maintain IT equipment used across Amazon fulfillment sites. Troubleshoot PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers and other end-user equipment. Maintain Zebra thermal printers, scanners and portable handheld terminals. Manage the RMA and repair process for devices covered by warranty. Support senior engineers with daily projects and assigned IT activities. Provide IT support across multiple Amazon buildings in the assigned area. Travel to other sites within the state or region when required. Follow Amazon's safety procedures while carrying out technical work. What You Need At least 1 year of corporate IT support experience with Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems. Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems. Experience maintaining Zebra thermal printers and troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners and portable handheld terminals. Ability to work in a customer-facing IT support environment. Flexibility to work according to business and shift requirements. Ability to travel between supported sites when required. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA A+ certification. CompTIA Network+ certification. Cisco or CCNA certification. Red Hat Linux knowledge or certification. Microsoft hardware installation experience or certification. AWS certification or other relevant industry certifications. Work Schedule and Location The role is based in Hyderabad and supports Amazon Operations facilities in the surrounding area. Employees work five days per week, but the two weekly days off can change based on shift patterns and business requirements.
