<p>We’re Hiring | Senior Engineer – IP Support Systems</p><p><br></p><p><strong>IP Support / Network Systems professional</strong> with strong expertise in <strong>Cisco ISE, AAA, DHCP, Linux, VMware/KVM and automation.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Engineer – IP Support Systems</strong> to drive the planning, engineering, automation, scalability and reliability of critical IP support platforms supporting <strong>LTE/4G, 5G, Wi-Fi and FTTH services</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Navi Mumbai, NHQ</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 8–15 Years</p><p><strong>Qualification:</strong> BE / B.Tech</p><p><strong>Function:</strong> Network / Technology</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li>Understanding of IP support Systems (DHCP, ISE, IPAM, MS AD, SSH, FTP, Syslog management system) applications architecture for wireless (LTE 4G, 5G, WiFi-APs) and wireline (FTTH, UBR based Airfiber) services.</li><li>Develop requirement document for new products and services in IP Support systems and applications.</li><li>Develop solution design for high reliability and scalability.</li><li>Develop IP Support systems test plan and conduct test for validation with QA team in LAB.</li><li>Standardisation of config management, audit and compliance for all IP support system </li><li>Security assessment, hardening of operating systems and applications and compliance as per security certifications.</li><li>Understanding of OSS tools / EMS/NMS (HPOM, HPOO, Zabbix, Granite, MyCOM, JAMS etc.).</li><li>Capacity planning and upgrade as per NPE guidelines.</li><li>Understanding of soft application and automations for intersystem communication using API and CLI commands.</li><li>Understanding of new requirements and drive vendors for development of new features and reliability of platforms.</li><li>Adherence to standard operating Processes to achieve higher efficiency and compliance</li><li>Develop IP support Systems platforms planning and Engineering guidelines for operations</li><li>Coordination and working with cross-functional team, vendors and customers</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Deliverables</strong></p><p><br></p><ol><li>System & Network Management: Proficient in managing core systems, protocols, and technologies, including network management, authentication, IP address management, in both wireless and wired networks. </li><li>Requirements & Documentation: Skilled in gathering technical requirements and producing clear, comprehensive documentation for new systems and services. </li><li>Solution Design & Scalability: Expertise in designing scalable, high-performance systems for growth and reliability, with strong documentation skills (e.g., solution documents, MOPs). </li><li>Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience in developing and executing test plans, collaborating with QA teams to validate system functionality, and ensuring optimal performance. </li><li>Security & Compliance: Knowledge of standardizing configurations, implementing security best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications. </li><li>Automation & Cross-functional Collaboration: Proficient in automating processes through APIs, integrating OSS systems for fault, performance, backup/restore, and configuration management, while effectively coordinating with vendors and internal teams for seamless project execution. </li><li>Operational Coordination & Change Management: Skilled in coordinating operational activities, assessing the impact of changes on live systems, and ensuring changes are validated and deployed in production through a defined process of Service Requests (SR) and Change Requests (CR). </li></ol><p><br></p><p>Key Skills</p><ol><li><strong>Cisco ISE / AAA</strong></li><li><strong>RADIUS / TACACS+</strong></li><li><strong>DHCP / CPNR</strong></li><li><strong>Linux / RHEL / Debian</strong></li><li><strong>VMware / KVM</strong></li><li><strong>Python / Shell Scripting</strong></li><li><strong>RESTful APIs / API Integration</strong></li><li><strong>IPAM / MS Active Directory</strong></li><li><strong>DHCPv6</strong></li><li><strong>NMS / Zabbix / Nagios</strong></li><li><strong>OSS / EMS / NMS</strong></li><li><strong>Syslog / SNMP / SSH</strong></li><li><strong>IPv4 / IPv6</strong></li><li><strong>Network Automation</strong></li><li><strong>LTE / 4G / 5G</strong></li><li><strong>FTTH / Wireline Networks</strong></li></ol><p><br></p><p>If you are interested please email your profile on <strong>pallavi.gupta@ril.com with subject line IP Support - your name</strong></p>
