HR Generalist - Talent & People Operations

As we scale globally, we are looking for an ambitious HR Generalist - Talent & People Operations who can build exceptional employee experiences while driving world-class talent acquisition and people operations.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working across the entire employee lifecycle-from hiring exceptional talent to building scalable HR processes, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, implementing HR technologies, and enabling managers to build high-performing teams.

You will work closely with leadership to shape our people practices, build an AI-first HR function, and help create a workplace where exceptional people can thrive.

Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition (End-to-End Recruitment)
  • Own the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements.
  • Create job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, Naukri, referrals, and networking.
  • Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, coordinate technical interviews, and manage candidate experience.
  • Negotiate offers and manage offer rollout.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, offer acceptance, and hiring quality.
2. Employee Onboarding & Experience
  • Design and manage a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate joining formalities and induction programs.
  • Ensure new employees are productive quickly.
  • Manage off- boarding and exit processes.
3. HR Operations
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR databases.
  • Ensure accurate HR documentation and personnel files.
  • Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and employee changes.
  • Support payroll inputs and leave management.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations.
4. HR Policies, Compliance & Governance
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain employee and HR handbook and policy documentation.
  • Manage HR governance and process standardization.
  • Promote ethical HR practices across the organization.
5. Talent Management & Performance
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Coordinate goal setting and performance review cycles.
  • Assist managers in performance conversations.
  • Identify high-potential talent.
  • Support career development initiatives.
6. People Partnering
  • Act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees.
  • Support employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
  • Guide HR policies and best practices.
  • Foster a high-performance culture.
Skills and Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong experience in End-to-End Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience managing HR Operations.
  • Good understanding of HR policies, compliance, and Indian labour laws.
  • Experience in onboarding, employee engagement, and off-boarding.
  • Exposure to Performance Management and Talent Management.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms such as Zoho Suite & Keka or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI productivity tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications UG/ PG from LSR, Miranda House, SRCC, St. Stephen's, Hindu, Gargi, Hansraj, Ramjas, and any other top liberal arts college in India.
