Full-Stack Developer Needed – AI Raw Video to Finished Reel Web App (MVP)

# Full-Stack Developer Needed – AI Raw Video to Finished Reel Web App (MVP)

I’m looking for a skilled full-stack developer with **FFmpeg/video-processing and AI API experience** to build a low-budget MVP for an AI-powered Reel creation website.

The concept is simple:

**Upload raw clips/photos → Choose a visual style → Tell AI what you want → Get a finished Reel automatically.**

Users should NOT need video-editing knowledge or use a traditional editing timeline.

## Core MVP Features

### 1. Premium UI/UX

The website must have a **top-quality, modern, clean, creator-focused UI/UX** and work well on desktop and mobile.

### 2. Upload Raw Content

Users can upload:

* Multiple raw video clips

* Photos

### 3. Visual Style Selection

On the **left side**, users should be able to watch short example videos showing different editing styles.

Categories can include:

* Trending

* Lifestyle

* Travel

* Cooking

* Wedding

* Fitness

* Cinematic

Users watch an example and click **“Use This Style.”**

For the MVP, these can use predefined editing presets/templates behind the scenes rather than building an expensive AI style-learning system.

### 4. AI Prompt + Voice Dictation

Users can describe what they want using either **simple or detailed natural language**.

Example:

“Make this a nice travel Reel.”

Or:

“Create a 30-second cinematic travel Reel. Start with the beach clip, use fast cuts in the middle and finish with the sunset photo.”

The prompt box should also have a **microphone button for voice dictation/speech-to-text**.

### 5. Reel Options

Users can select:

* 15 / 30 / 60 seconds

* Captions ON/OFF

* Music ON/OFF

* Editing style

### 6. AI Content Analysis

The system should analyze uploaded content and determine which clips/moments are useful.

If additional footage could improve the result, AI can recommend something such as:

“Adding one close-up clip could improve your Reel.”

User can choose:

**Add More Content**

or

**Continue Anyway**

The recommendation should never prevent generation.

### 7. Automatic Video Creation

The system should automatically:

* Select useful moments

* Trim clips

* Arrange clips

* Combine videos/photos

* Convert to vertical **9:16**

* Add simple transitions/effects

* Generate synchronized captions when requested

* Add/mix background music

* Follow the selected style/preset

* Follow the user's AI instructions

* Render one finished MP4

### 8. Final Result

Show:

* Video preview

* Download finished Reel

* Generate Again

## Preferred Technology

Open to recommendations, but experience with the following is preferred:

* React / Next.js

* Node.js or Python

* FFmpeg

* AI/LLM APIs

* Speech-to-text

* Video/audio processing

* Cloud storage

* Background job queues

## Important

This is an **MVP with a limited budget**.

I am NOT looking for:

* A full CapCut-style manual editor

* AI outfit changing

* AI background replacement

* Avatars

* Complex generative video

* Hundreds of templates

Those can be added in later phases.

The first goal is to make this workflow work extremely well:

**Upload → Choose Style → Prompt/Dictate → Generate → Finished Reel**

## When Applying

Please send:

1. Examples of video-processing or AI projects you have built

2. Your FFmpeg experience

3. AI APIs you recommend for this project

4. Your proposed architecture

5. Fixed-price MVP quote

6. Estimated timeline

Please apply only if you have relevant video-processing experience and can deliver a polished UI/UX within an MVP budget.
