Final Cut Pro Video Data Annotator

The work

You will prepare video data for AI training by organizing footage, adding accurate metadata, and creating structured media assets in Final Cut Pro. You will follow project guidelines and keep annotations consistent across each delivery.

The work includes video editing tasks, media processing, documentation, and communication with project coordinators. You will also use feedback from periodic annotation reviews to improve completed work.

  • Annotate and tag video content in Final Cut Pro.
  • Segment footage, mark keyframes, and highlight relevant scenes.
  • Apply cutting, sequencing, and color correction techniques.
  • Organize and process media through macOS editing workflows.
  • Prepare post-production deliverables, documentation, and media assets.
  • Follow detailed project guidelines and submit completed work to delivery requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with project coordinators and incorporate review feedback.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. Prior AI training experience is not required, and entry-level through mid-level video editing experience is welcome.

  • $15 to $80 per hour.
  • Remote work for candidates in the listed countries.
  • Professional or academic experience with Final Cut Pro is preferred.
  • Knowledge of video post-production, including cutting, sequencing, and color correction.
  • Familiarity with macOS-based editing tools and workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed guidelines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Interest or experience in video data annotation and media organization is helpful but not required.
  • English fluency.
