Facility Manager - Biomedical Engineer and IT Manager

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Facility Manager – Biomedical Engineering & IT to join our clients facility in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall facility operations, maintenance, safety, and technical services of the healthcare facility.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of medical and biomedical equipment.
  • Maintain biomedical equipment records, maintenance schedules, calibration, service reports, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for facility and biomedical equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare facility, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life-safety systems, CCTV, access control, and other facility systems.
  • Manage the facility’s IT infrastructure, including computers, networks, internet connectivity, printers, telephone systems, and related equipment.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with software and system vendors regarding technical issues, upgrades, maintenance, and system integration.
  • Support the proper functioning of healthcare/clinic management systems and other digital platforms.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of IT, biomedical, and facility-related assets.
  • Monitor maintenance contracts, warranties, AMCs, licenses, and renewal schedules.
  • Support data security, system access controls, backup processes, and IT-related policies in coordination with management and service providers.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility, biomedical equipment, IT performance, maintenance activities, and identified risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in facility management, biomedical engineering, and IT support, preferably within a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
  • Good knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare facility operations and regulatory requirements in the UAE is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and vendor-management skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple technical and operational responsibilities.
