Experienced Book Formatter & Amazon KDP Publishing Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced, detail oriented professional to help transform a completed manuscript into a beautifully formatted, professionally published book.

The manuscript is approximately 150 to 200 pages, with all chapters completed and organized. The front cover artwork has also been created.

We would love to find someone who can handle the entire formatting and publishing process, from manuscript preparation through publication on Amazon.

Scope of Work

1. Professionally format the manuscript, including chapter layouts, typography, spacing, margins, page numbering, and overall interior design.

2. Recommend the best book dimensions, paper quality, and printing options to create a beautiful, professional finished product.

3. Prepare publication ready files for paperback, hardcover, and Kindle eBook editions.

4. Adapt our existing cover artwork to meet Amazon KDP requirements, including spine and back cover preparation as needed.

5. Assist with Amazon KDP setup, uploading, and publishing through our own account.

6. Review the final formatting, ensure everything meets Amazon’s publishing specifications, and assist with any necessary corrections following our review of the digital and physical proofs.

7. Provide all final publishing files and editable source files for future revisions.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated experience formatting and publishing books through Amazon KDP.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of professional book design.

• Knowledge of paper quality, printing options, book dimensions, and publishing requirements.

• Clear communication and the ability to manage the process independently and efficiently.

Project Details

• Manuscript: Approximately 150 to 200 pages, already completed.

• Cover artwork: Already created.

• Timeline: Ideally 2 to 4 weeks or sooner.

• Budget: $250 fixed price.
