How to Apply

Please email the following to careers@puzzleinnovation.net:

pplication Process Please Read Before Applying

We are looking for someone who can do more than collect contact information. You will be responsible for helping Puzzle Innovationz build a high-quality B2B sales pipeline.

To help us evaluate your research, communication, and prospecting skills, all applicants must complete the following two steps.

Step 1 Submit a 23 Minute Loom Video

Please record a short Loom video introducing yourself and answering the following:

  • Tell us about yourself and your previous B2B lead-generation experience.
  • What types of companies have you generated leads for?
  • What tools do you use to find companies and decision-makers?
  • How do you verify that a lead is accurate?
  • How do you determine whether a company is a good potential client?
  • If you were generating leads for a software development company, how would you find potential clients?
  • Why are you interested in working with Puzzle Innovationz?

Video length: 23 minutes.

We are not looking for a highly edited video. We want to see how clearly and professionally you communicate and how well you understand the role.

Step 2 Complete a 5-Prospect Research Test

Research 5 real companies that you believe could potentially become clients of Puzzle Innovationz.

For each company, provide:

  • Company name
  • Company website
  • Industry
  • Company location
  • Decision-maker's name
  • Decision-maker's title
  • Professional email, if available
  • LinkedIn profile, if available
  • What the company does
  • What technology opportunity or problem you believe Puzzle Innovationz could help with
  • Why you selected this company as a potential prospect

  • What We're Looking For

We are evaluating the quality of your research, not simply the number of contacts you can find.

We want to see whether you can:

    • Identify the right types of companies
    • Find the right decision-makers
    • Research a company's business
    • Identify potential technology needs
    • Verify information
    • Explain why a prospect is a good fit
    • Follow instructions carefully
    • Communicate clearly

  • Do not submit random companies simply to complete the assignment.

We would rather see 5 carefully researched prospects than 50 poorly researched ones.

    Important

The Loom video and 5-prospect research test are required parts of the application process.

Applications that do not include both may not be considered.

    5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

    6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

    9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

    10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
