<p><strong>Associate Research Scientist – RNAi Formulations</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Lexington, MA</p><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM</p><p><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Onsite</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 1 year</p><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $39/hr on w2</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking an <strong>Associate Research Scientist – RNAi Formulations</strong> to join a multidisciplinary research team focused on non-viral delivery and formulation development for RNAi and oligonucleotide therapeutics.</p><p>This is a <strong>hands-on laboratory role</strong> focused on formulation preparation, analytical and biophysical characterization, developability assessments, troubleshooting, and stability evaluation of oligonucleotide formulations for injectable therapeutics.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and characterize preclinical <strong>RNAi and oligonucleotide formulations</strong> across portfolio and platform projects.</li><li>Perform hands-on <strong>formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and data analysis</strong>.</li><li>Develop and execute screening assays to evaluate formulation performance and developability.</li><li>Assess critical formulation properties including <strong>solubility, viscosity, osmolality, stability, degradation, and aggregation</strong>.</li><li>Support formulation optimization using <strong>high-throughput screening and Design of Experiments (DoE)</strong> approaches where applicable.</li><li>Conduct long-term storage and stability studies for RNAi conjugates and oligonucleotide formulations.</li><li>Troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges, identify technical gaps, and propose practical solutions.</li><li>Maintain accurate experimental documentation and communicate results through technical summaries, reports, and presentations.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams in <strong>non-viral delivery, formulation, oligonucleotide chemistry, bioanalysis, PK, CMC, and related functions</strong>.</li><li>Support project deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>MS with approximately 3 years of relevant experience</strong>, or <strong>PhD with 1–3 years of relevant experience</strong> in pharmaceutical sciences, formulation sciences, chemical engineering, biophysics, analytical chemistry, oligonucleotide delivery, or a related field.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>oligonucleotide or antibody/protein formulation and characterization</strong> is strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with analytical methods or assessments involving <strong>solubility, viscosity, osmolality, aggregation, stability, degradation, or other developability parameters</strong>.</li><li>Strong hands-on laboratory skills with the ability to <strong>troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges</strong>.</li><li>Strong experimental planning, documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the</li></ul>
