Role Accountability Conduct Money Laundering Risk Assessment (MLRA) for the business Develop & enhance transaction monitoring & watchlist screening processes & capabilities Monitor industry regulatory activities and other trends (external and internal) through appropriate early warning systems in order to take pre-emptive actions Conduct half yearly risk profiling for Retail and Corporate Card customers and roll out of memo along with Credit & Risk team Participate in yearly Validation and Optimization exercise for AML tool Prepare and disseminate AML dashboards/reports to the Senior management Monitor implementation of AML related audit recommendations by internal/external auditors & regulators and ensure its timely and effective closure Monitor timely submissions of various reports/returns/responses to RBI/FIU and other key stakeholders Drive implementation of any ad-hoc projects with regards to FATF/FIU recommendations Measures of Success No significant regulator penalties/fines Timely closure of Validation & Optimization Activity Timely closure of MLRA Accuracy in customer risk profiling Timely & accurate submission of AML dashboards/reports Process adherence as per MOU Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications Ability to detect emerging compliance and industry trends and develop appropriate responses Ability to operate with due discretion, confidentiality, objectivity and independence ACAMS certification Competencies critical to the role Stakeholder Management Process Orientation Detail Orientation Problem Solving Skills Analytical Ability Qualification Graduate in any discipline Preferred Industry FSI Experience Level Mid Level
