Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Land Surveyor to support surveying activities for ongoing and upcoming construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in carrying out land and site surveys, setting out works, collecting field data, and ensuring surveying activities are performed accurately and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Land Surveyor in conducting site surveys and setting out works.
  • Perform measurements and collect field data using surveying equipment.
  • Support the establishment of control points, levels, and benchmarks.
  • Prepare survey records, sketches, and reports as directed.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, elevations, and coordinates on-site.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure survey accuracy.
  • Maintain surveying instruments and ensure proper handling and calibration.
  • Adhere to company HSE policies and project safety requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring construction progress and updating survey data.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in land surveying within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS equipment.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD and survey data processing.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and site layouts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • UAE/GCC construction experience.
  • Familiarity with roads, infrastructure, or building projects.
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
