Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to support the Finance & Accounts function at the property. The role will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions at the hotel. - Ensure accurate posting and maintenance of accounts in the accounting/POS systems. - Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation. - Monitor daily revenue, cash collections, credit transactions and deposits. - Review and verify hotel revenue reports, supporting documents and financial transactions. - Assist in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial reports. - Monitor and reconcile guest ledger, city ledger and advance payments. - Coordinate with operational departments for billing, revenue and financial discrepancies. - Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain proper documentation. - Assist in month-end closing and preparation of MIS reports. - Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies and statutory requirements. - Coordinate with auditors and support internal/statutory audits. - Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions wherever required. Candidate Profile - Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance, Accounting or Commerce. - 3–6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within the hotel/hospitality industry. - Strong knowledge of hotel accounting and financial processes. - Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. - Strong analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills. - Valuable communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment.
