Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive / Finance Executive

Role Description An

Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive / Finance Executive supports daily accounting and finance operations, including transactions, reconciliations, payments, reporting, and financial documentation. The role helps maintain accurate records and supports efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting and finance activities.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial documents.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial closing.
  • Process payments, expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and account summaries.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and payment requests.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, auditors, and internal teams.
  • Support tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and support improvements to finance processes.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in

    Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

    , or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, payments, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in

    Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with

    SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks

    , or other ERP/accounting systems is advantageous.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
