Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Government Vertical Company: Ensonic Computech Pvt. Ltd. (Brand: EKIN) Department: Sales – Government Vertical Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Employment Type: Full-Time Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager – Government Vertical to drive business opportunities across Government Departments, PSUs, Educational Institutions and other Government organizations. The role will focus on developing government accounts, identifying projects/tenders, building relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners, and coordinating internally for successful order closure and execution. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage business opportunities across Government Departments, PSUs, Government Educational Institutions and other institutional accounts within the assigned territory. Identify upcoming projects, requirements and tender opportunities through direct customer interaction, partners and market intelligence. Build and maintain strong relationships with Government officials, decision-makers, consultants, system integrators and channel partners . Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations and technical/commercial discussions. Promote EKIN's range of Audio-Visual, Smart Classroom, Interactive Display, Video Conferencing and related IT/AV solutions . Work closely with the Tender and Pre-Sales teams for tender specifications, product compliance, BOQ preparation and bid-related requirements. Understand tender specifications and coordinate for appropriate product positioning and technical compliance. Develop and manage OEM/partner/SI relationships for government projects. Track opportunities from initial requirement generation through tendering, negotiation, order closure, supply and payment follow-up. Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular forecasts, visit reports and opportunity updates through the company's ERP/CRM system. Coordinate with Tender, Technical, Logistics, Accounts and Service teams for smooth execution of confirmed orders. Monitor competitor activities, market pricing and government procurement trends, including GeM and e-Procurement opportunities . Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and contribute to profitable business growth. Ensure timely collection/payment follow-up for assigned customers and projects. Candidate Profile Education: Graduate / MBA or equivalent qualification preferred. Experience: 4–8 years of B2B/Institutional sales experience, preferably with exposure to Government/PSU sales . Experience in AV, IT Hardware, Smart Classroom, Display, Video Conferencing, Education Technology or System Integration will be preferred. Good understanding of Government procurement processes, GeM, tenders and e-Procurement . Strong network within Government departments, institutions, consultants, SIs or channel partners will be an advantage. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills. Ability to independently manage a territory and travel extensively for customer meetings and project follow-ups.
